Yume somehow got a French-sounding last name at some point (Moire), so I figured I'd make them French, since I had their parents move from somewhere regardless. I happen to have enough whacky plot to justify the Frenchness anyway~ I had
narrate Hugh's dialogue in French to me over Skype though. It was amazing :'D

I suppose Gardevoirs (and their prior evolutions, of course) don't break the whole 'pokemon don't feel strongly' concept used in this interpretation of the game world due to their natural empathy being attributed specifically to reading humans, like their trainers. They don't need this particular 'sync' stuff to be epic. They're just naturally awesome. XD
Thinking on it, though, a Gardevoir synced with a good-hearted, optimistic, strong-willed trainer in this alternate dimension could conceivably be one of the most powerful beings in existence. Who needs legendaries when you got syncing AND empath pokemon?
